Client Details

Our client is a well-known and leading services company in New Zealand. In order to reinforce its team, we are looking for a Senior Management Accountant which an experience in managing a big team.


As Senior Management Accountant, you will be reporting to the General Manager Finance. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Preparation & approval of Financial reports with specific focus on: Profit & Loss, Monthly Balance Sheet, Analysis of P&L Variances

- Compliance with deadlines, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information presented

- Reconciliations: Management & preparation of Monthly Reconciliation Pack

- Debtors: Management to oversee adherence to Company Policy Including bad debts and risk assessment of debtors

- Financial Analysis: Preparation of required financial analysis to support key business trends, projects & decisions

- IT Issues: Knowledge and comprehensive understanding of all branch IT systems, development of systems where required

- Creditors: Management to oversee compliance to company policy

- Stock-takes: Management to oversee compliance to company policy

- Preparation of annual branch budgets

- Monthly Reconciliation of all Branches Balance Sheet accounts

- Controls and procedures as laid down by Support Centre Finance Team, Internal Audit or Company Management

- Processing with payroll administration

- Performance appraisals, training plans & KPI reviews

- Identify areas for improvement particularly with regard to administration, finance & compliance


- You have a strong experience within a similar position

- Manufacturing or Industrial environment

- At least 2 years of experience managing 6+ reports in your team

- CA qualified

- Good communication skills

- "Can do" mindset, structured, well organised

- Team player, you also work autonomously

- Good knowledge of Excel
