Kia ora! Want to work for Ngai Tahu Tourism, one of the largest tourism operators in Aotearoa?

Do you have a passion for animals (especially birds), love to entertain customers and enjoy working in a fun environment? We're on the hunt for a Wildlife and Presentations Animal Handler who will deliver an outstanding and interactive experience to our park visitors through the Free Flight Bird Shows. You'll also be involved in the duties necessary for the welfare, care and protection of those animal species who reside at Rainbow Springs!

Set in 22 acres of beautiful native trees and streams, Rainbow Springs is home to a variety of New Zealand's most precious inhabitants, including kiwi, trout, tuatara and native birds.

We take great pride in warmly welcoming manuhiri (visitors) to our experiences. Manaakitanga (hospitality) is one of the core values that drives the way we do business. As hosts, we care for our customers and our team as our own whanau.

Our nature park also features a kiwi hatchery and rearing facility - the country's largest and most successful kiwi conservation centre. Visitors to Rainbow Springs are able to enjoy the adrenalin rush of The Big Splash, explore free flight aviaries, feed the birds their breakfast, come face-to-face with tuatara, talk to Jenny the hand-reared kea, feed large wild trout and experience the wonder of Rainbow Springs' bird show, starring some of the funniest feathered performers.

We offer not only a unique experience for visitors, but also an awesome place to work. This is a permanent position based in Rotorua.
