Dunedin Venues Management Ltd is Dunedin's premier venue and event services company. Managing Forsyth Barr Stadium, the Dunedin Centre, and the University of Otago Oval. DVML is the central hub for entertainment hosting over 500 events per year including concerts, sport matches, conferences and community events. The Dunedin Centre includes the Dunedin Town Hall, Glenroy Auditorium, Municipal Chambers and a variety of other conference rooms, meeting rooms, lounges and bars.

With stellar growth of the events portfolio and a continual focus on facility management, we are recruiting for two newly created roles in the Facilities Management team. Reporting to the maintenance coordinator, the primary areas of responsibility of these roles are the day to day upkeep and maintenance of all facilities under the DVML management.

Key responsibilities of the positions include;

•Undertaking maintenance tasks to ensure plant and building equipment are well maintained.
•Repairing damaged equipment and facilities to ensure that all venues are operating safely and efficiently
•Carrying out periodical maintenance checks, ensuring they are completed within specified timeframes.
•Carry out general maintenance tasks such as repairs, painting, and event specific amenities for optimal delivery of the events portfolio

These positions will be physically challenging and will include working at heights. Previous maintenance or construction experience is desirable but not essential.
