Our Whangarei Workshop requires a versatile team member to assist us to maintain and repair our fleet of modern transport vehicles, construction, maintenance and sealing equipment, light vehicles and small plant.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will have previous experience in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and ideally have a background in heavy machinery and contracting equipment. There will also be a small amount of call out's required in this role.
You must have a proactive approach to plant maintenance, coupled with the ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision.
The following skills and attributes are also required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry;
- A mechanical qualification and technical aptitude is essential;
- Drivers licence class 4 minimum, along with experience driving heavy trucks, construction equipment and forklift;
- Diagnostic ability;
- Work as part of a team.
