We are into the second session of construction for the Waikato Expressway - Hamilton Section project, a major roading project being undertaken as an Alliance. This project is a ‘road of national significance’. It’s a challenge that demands a team of motivated people with the right balance of local and international expertise.

We are seeking a Pavement Quality Engineer with at least three years’ experience to join, reporting to the Pavement and Surfacing Manager. This is your chance to join a dynamic, fast paced and focused team that will make a significant impact for road users in and around the Waikato.

The Pavement Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring compliance with project systems and procedures, the meeting of required quality standards and the timely provision of project deliverables necessary to achieve programme and handover requirements.

About You:

In order to fill this role you will have good planning skills and the ability to effectively deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Your commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards will be one of your strengths. You will have excellent communication skills and show a high degree of motivation at all times.

Requirements:

  • At least three years’ experience in a similar position
  • Fully qualified or steady progress towards a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (Degree or Diploma).
  • Excellent skills in planning, programming and communication are required.
  • Training in the Management of Quality Information will be provided.
