Harding Traffic Ltd (HTL) has been installing traffic control systems since 1963. Over the past 47 years, Harding has grown into a traffic company with unrivalled New Zealand experience in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of traffic signs and systems and car parking systems in both on-street and off-street environments along with building and project sites for local and central government. This role will be also be working with sister company i-Park.

Innovative Parking Technologies (i-Park) is a parking services company that offers solutions to the industry outside of sale of equipment. i-Park is a sister company to Harding Traffic Ltd.

Harding Traffic Ltd and Innovative Parking Solutions Ltd are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join us, that's you!

This role is available due to growth and there are even more chances to grow! You will be mainly focussed on managing a large contract and ensuring it is all running smoothly, to do so, there will be travel to Rotorua required and vehicle provided for this. This role is integral to our business running smoothly and ensuring we do keep growing. Managing this new contract will not be your only task as you have a flair for sales and contracts you will be bringing on ideas and bringing in new contracts as well. On a daily basis you will:

  • Manage the delivery of company contracts
  • Manage contract performance including financial responsibility
  • Customer and supplier relationship and negotiation
  • Customer presentation and reporting
  • Preparing pricing and submitting tenders, ROI, RFP etc.
  • Business development

You have the capability to pick up this opportunity and drive a successful outcome based on excellent service and customer relationships.

You have at least 4 years' experience in contract management meaning you will be able to hit the ground running! Your dynamic and engaging personality mixed with your excellent customer service will see clients loving you and you will thrive in this role in no time. Whilst not essential for the role, prior experience with traffic, electronics or parking industry sectors would be beneficial and see you succeed in no time. You will be hardworking and have great communication skills as well as fantastic attention detail, a testament to your great customer service.
