A senior level appointment, reporting to the CEO, and working alongside the leadership team, the National Commercial Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the commercial strategies that will guide and direct all commercial activities throughout the entire company, by driving the continuous improvement of commercial management processes and control measures designed to minimise risk and maximise operational performance of contracts to achieve the best commercial outcome.
As National Commercial Manager you will have to show strategic vision, with the goal of optimising our opportunities by ensuring commercial best practice is followed to maximise value and minimise risk by identifying commercial risks and cost to the Company. You will provide pro-active specialist expertise and advice and by leading the assessment and valuation of high value/high risk applications in accordance with project processes, contractual terms and conditions and commensurate with contractual entitlement.
You will have a degree qualification, and able to demonstrate a proven track record in quantity surveying/commercial management with significant experience in a senior role. You will be commercially astute, and possess good negotiations skills with experience in procurement, contract and financial administration and the ability to manage and motivate individuals within a team to reach their full potential.
