Operating in our fast paced, phone based, Service Centre environment, we’re currently taking expressions of interest for future opportunities across our farmer support teams, where you’ll really get to make a positive difference to our Fonterra farmers.
Working alongside a vibrant and supportive team, you’ll be providing exceptional customer service and accurate advice to our farmers who call through to our busy 0800 line. You’ll thoroughly answer their queries around tanker collections, milk storage problems, shares, and our technology. You may also be resolving issues such as card activations, store transfers, customer complaints, on-farm fuel enquiries, explaining charges on accounts, and plenty of finance or credit questions in a thorough and prompt manner will be all in a day’s work in this role!
Building exceptional relationships are key to this role as we partner to deliver exceptional service with our Fonterra Shareholders and wider Farm Source account holders.
These roles will operate Monday to Friday on either a rostered shift schedule covering 7am-7pm so being flexible with your hours of work is a requirement.
You’re switched on, energetic and have a mature, professional phone manner. You’ll be the first point of contact for our farmers so your ability to build rapport quickly and stay positive and calm under pressure will ensure you provide outstanding service at all times. A flexible, proactive and adaptable approach coupled with the ability to pick things up quickly will see you thrive in this ever-changing environment.
Other required skills and experience include:
- Excellent ability to problem solve efficiently and think on your feet
- Strong customer service, call centre or sales experience from a professional environment
- Experience working to KPIs
- Farming knowledge is highly beneficial
