Would you like to work for a leading brand that truly values its people and is committed to making a difference for their customers? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Centre Consultant to join our Customer Service Centre in Penrose.
You will be responsible for actively providing quality face to face customer service to all AA Insurance customers to eliminate stress and provide certainty for them.

As the Customer Service Centre Consultant, you will be responsible for liaising with external sources and ensuring all contacts and interactions are handled in a timely manner while actively contributing to the development and maintenance of long term, high value supplier relationships. Reporting directly to the Customer Manager Team Leader, you will be working as part of our highly motivated Service Centre Team primarily focusing on maintaining professional standards by ensuring level of face to face customer service exceeds customer expectations and reinforces AAI's commitment to service excellence in line with timeliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities for this role will include -
  • Actively participate and contribute to a team focussed on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ensure all contacts and interactions are handled in a timely manner and are of the highest standard
  • Liaising with external consultants, customers, and expert advisors while maintaining and developing long term supplier relationships

Requirements for this role include -
  • Proven Customer Service experience is essential
  • Previous claims experience is desirable
  • Proven sales experience is desirable
  • The ability to multi-task while remaining focused on quality
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Able to display a high level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Energy, passion and desire to make a difference at AA Insurance
  • Flexibility to work at any of the three Auckland sites is essential
  • Current NZ driver's license
  • Fluency in Mandarin would be beneficial

The Customer Service Centre operates Monday - Saturday 7.00am - 6.00pm and 8.30am - 12.30pm respectively. The successful candidate will need to be able to work within these hours on a rotational basis.
