Part-time Night Caretaker | Whangateau Holiday Park

Come and join our Holiday Parks teams, located at Whangateau Holiday Park - kiwi camping as it should be, right on the water's edge in North Auckland's most beautiful recreational region.  

You will be providing night shift cover undertaking park security, noise shut down, front of house responsibilities, assisting guests, locking up, some administrative and cleaning duties where needed.  You will be the point of contact for guests as well as other staff throughout these night shifts.  

To be successful in this role you will have
  • At least 3 years experience in a customer service environment
  • Security night/audit experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work in a team, but also unsupervised
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

You will also need to:
  • Have a calm and friendly personality
  • Be diplomatic when dealing with customers
  • Be able to think on your feet
  • Be able to work 6, 8, 10, 12 hour shifts as required to fit business needs

This is a permanent, part-time position, working a minimum of 24 hours a week, 8pm to 8am, rostered over 7 days.  From October to March, you will be working 3 nights per week.  During the 'off' season, from April to September, this will reduce to 2 nights per week.  Due to the nature of the business, this may include weekends and public holidays.
