We have a permanent part-time opportunity for an energetic Customer Service Representative in our Rotorua Airport branch. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both greeting and helping out customers coming in to pick up or drop off rental cars, and for ensuring our customers have a sparkling clean and safe car to enjoy their self-drive experience. You’ll deliver high quality work every day, being warm and empathetic to exceed customer expectations. We need you to keep our fleet to an excellent standard, so you’ll need an eagle eye to identify and report vehicle damage, and be happy working on your feet with a good level of fitness.

We have an extensive fleet of modern vehicles at 30 locations nationwide, and growing. Our fleet is growing and changing too, so you’ll get behind the wheel of a range of vehicles therefore a full and clean New Zealand driver licence is necessary.

You’ll find your time divided between helping customers coming in to pick up or drop off rental cars, and cleaning/servicing the vehicles, a great mix of engaging with people and focusing on getting the details just right. If you love taking ownership and pride in your work, you’ll fit right in at Thrifty!

Our Rotorua Airport branch can be in hot demand, and our operation runs from 7.30am through to 8.30pm most days. The hours will range from a minimum of 25 hours per week - to 40 hours in our peak periods with weekend work also included. Flexibility is essential.
