Transdev Auckland is contracted to Auckland Transport to operate passenger rail services in Auckland. This role is responsible for effectively managing all the communications in the Transdev Operations Centre (TOC) at Britomart. You will supervise the team of Customer Communications Officers and provide overall direction to other staff when carrying out communication tasks within the control room. The management of communications includes all public announcements at Britomart and outlying stations, correct information on Passenger Information Display Systems, all text messaging to staff and customers and on time communications with other departments.

?Strong verbal and written communication skills with full fluency in English
?Analytical and problem solving abilities with the ability to work under pressure
?Demonstrated Supervisory skills
?Competent with all Microsoft Office software
?Flexibility and ability to work with change
?Ability to work in a team and establish strong relationships with staff and colleagues
?Take action with positive leadership during disruptions and emergency situations by displaying the necessary personality and disposition to work effectively in a high pressure atmosphere
?Ability to work a 24/7 shift work roster
