The centre provides a multicultural environment for the children and families and has a team of qualified teachers passionate about children’s learning.

About the role:

Centre Managers are the heart of our centres and are well supported in their varied and rewarding roles. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day to day operations, programme delivery, communicating with families and staff, and budgets. The key to success is building great relationships with whÄnau and children, and coaching and mentoring your team to deliver the best outcomes for children.

About you:

As a dynamic Centre Manager you will have solid business acumen with a track record in building strong, positive relationships with staff, whÄnau relationships and community stakeholders. Your will use your experience in financial management, outcome focus and leadership skills to take the centre to the next level. Previous management or supervisory experience is essential along with in depth knowledge of the operational requirements within the ECE environment. Our preference is someone who is fully registered to lead the curriculum aspects within the centre, however we would consider other leaders who have worked in the ECE environment.

What we offer you:

Do you have a continual drive for excellence? Would you like to be supported with your own professional development and continual growth? As a BestStart Centre Manager you will be provided with great support in both the business and curriculum aspects of your role.
