Before and After School Care Program Staff – Assistant
Part time Role

Hours: Before School Care: 7am – 8.30am (Term time only)

After School Care: 3pm – 6pm (Term time only)

We are a privately-owned company who provides a Before School and After School care programme for children enrolled at Summerland Primary School. We are committed to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment where children are encouraged, cared for, and supported. Currently we are looking for staff to start from Term 2, who fit in with our values, who are energetic, responsible and passionate about working with children.

As well as spending time with kids playing board games, sports, craft, and generally having fun, our staff will be required to be actively responsible for the safety and well being of the children in our programme. Along with the running of daily activities and interacting with the children you will be serving a simple afternoon tea and other general duties.

Your job will be to support the supervisor in the running of the programme, build loving relationships with our children, and ensure they are safe and happy. You will need to be willing to participate in play and run games and activities.

The successful applicants will be required to have a police check and need to have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Holding a valid First Aid certificate would be helpful but not essential.
