If you're keen to work in a smaller semi-rural office then Wairarapa could be the place for you. We have many attractions to offer including amazing coastlines, vineyards, walking and cycling trails and we're located approximately 1.5 hours' scenic drive away from Central Wellington

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced Speech-Language Therapist for a position in our Wellington Region, to provide service to our Wairarapa Area, based at our Masterton office.

Successful applicants will be required to provide services for children with disabilities/communication difficulties in pre-school and school settings to those adults, parents/whanau, teachers and support staff to assist to improve outcomes for these children.

The work will involve participating in multi-disciplinary collaborative teams and includes establishing effective relationships with parents, families and whanau, educators and others working in the community.

Applicants need to have excellent teaming, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills. The ability to be able to work effectively with children, parents, whanau, caregivers, teachers and other specialists, and a commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi is essential.

Applicants must be eligible for membership of the NZSTA.
