Our client is looking for an experienced climbing arborist with level 4 qualifications under their belt. We are wanting a Tarzan (or Jane) who is ready to leave their garden clippers at home and step up their game with the big boys.

Maintaining an electrical distribution network, our client sustains their own in-house arborist team. Joining an established team of 14 you will support the upkeep and maintenance of the networks by keeping power lines and infrastructure clear of tree growth. We are wanting a confident climbing arborist with good rigging skills and strong health and safety practices.
This isn't your average arborist role - every day is different and you will be working in a range of environments which will extend your knowledge and capabilities. Previous experience working around high voltage power lines would be an advantage - but not a deal-breaker. We will support the right candidates and provide the necessary training to gain the appropriate NZQA qualifications needed.
With all four seasons in one-day, our New Zealand weather, may require you to be flexible and on stand-by for occurring adverse weather events.

- Supporting maintenance of networks through tree/vegetation management
- Removal of dangerous and encroaching trees

Skills and experience
- Level 4 registered arborist
- Previous experience working around high voltage is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
