We have an outstanding opportunity, based in our Christchurch Support Office, for a person highly skilled in electrical engineering to join our Innovation Group.

Reporting to the Group Electrical Engineer, the successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Sound knowledge of PLCs, SCADAs, industrial networks, instrumentation and IT systems
  • Competent in PLC and SCADA programming
  • Hold a relevant qualification, preferably a BE(elec), NZCE or Engineering Diploma
  • Broad experience in Industrial automation and electrical design
  • Have excellent communication skills at all levels.

The Electrical Design / Automation Engineer will be responsible for the design, R&D, commissioning and maintenance support and of automation systems within the meat industry, including production equipment, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, effluent and water treatment, and electrical systems.
