We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and outgoing NDT Trainee Engineer / Graduate in our Industrial NDT & Materials Services team based in Christchurch. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the primary responsibilities of the role is to carry out equipment inspections and NDT testing activities to ensure client requirements are met under the various Industry Standards, including Health and Safety.
A successful candidate is likely to have a degree in Materials/Mechanical Engineering. Other fields of engineering such as Structural or Engineering Science are welcomed. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings, getting messages across that have the desired effect. You will provide the highest quality services and meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. You will be able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions, see hidden problems and look beyond the obvious.
This job involves travelling and therefore a New Zealand driver licence is required.
