About the role:

As the Maintenance lead within the Centre of Engineering, provide expert knowledge and leadership of maintenance optimisation to identify and implement maintenance optimisation opportunities to deliver measurable efficiency improvements within the maintenance management system and vessel through life maintenance budgets.

The role is a critical element of the business improvement strategy in place to fundamentally transform the way that maintenance is formulated for the RNZN. Developing and communicating these new maintenance strategies is a key requirement to complete the process.

About you:

You will have excellent communication skills and experience in an Engineering environment would be an advantage. Applicants with engineering or trade qualifications, along with solid maintenance planning experience, in particular with a naval or maritime background are encouraged to apply.
