seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and an Avionics Engineer to join our fantastic team at Feilding Aerodrome in the Manawatu.
Ideally, applicants for this position will have experience with a wide range of turbine
and piston twins and singles and possess skills in pressurisation, turbocharging,
structural, instrument, electrical and avionics.
Attention to detail, above average
hand skills and the ability to diagnose complex problems, work under pressure
and meet deadlines are prerequisites and a high level of comprehension and
basic computer skills will also be required.
To be successful in this role, and in addition to the above, you must be able to
- Above average engineering skills,
- A clear understanding of NZCAA rules,
- A high standard of record keeping and the ability to maintain work packs,
- An understanding of stores procedures and,
- Pride in your work
Avcraft Engineering NZ Ltd is New Zealand’s only Factory Authorised Service
Center for both Cirrus and Pilatus Aircraft. We are also a Garmin Dealer,
Honeywell and Bendix King Service Center, and represent a multitude of other
manufacturers. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and customer first
focus. We maintain a diverse fleet of aircraft ranging from Cessna 150’s to
factory new Cirrus SR22s, Beech Kingairs, Pilatus PC-12s and Cessna Citations.
A large portion of our work involves heavy structural repairs, modifications and
avionics support and installations. We also offer a breakdown and field service
with the opportunity to get out of the hangar and travel New Zealand wide.
