A client facing business such as this demands well developed skills in relationship building and creating experiences that drive repeat custom and spark a strong referral environment.

Not always competing on price but certainly competing in a price sensitive sector, the new GM will require a solid grasp of the financials, the P&L, budgets, forecasts and cost control. This is not just a Branch Manager appointment but a role for someone who has aspirations to be part of something much bigger, play a strategic role in the future of the group and deliver sound and sustainable performance.

People management is of course critical necessitating skills in managing resources effectively, upskilling, training and developing future leaders from within.

Where are you now?

We are anticipating the successful candidate will have fine tuned their customer service and sales skills in retail, hospitality, tourism or similar industries where face to face success is critical. They will have moved into management positions, growing teams and taking responsibility for performance and outcomes. They will now be overseeing one or more Branches and have broad ranging deliverables across financial reporting, daily operations and compliance, sales and marketing, strategic planning and resource management.

As part or a much larger group of companies the GM will work closely with other senior professionals who can provide significant support in order to assist this person to perform at their best. The Group is committed to seeing this division thrive and is looking forward to appointing a GM who can bring the necessary energy, self determination and motivation to make it happen.
