We require someone with a positive, upbeat attitude who knows how to deal with a variety of people and enquiries.

This is a busy hands-on role with the successful candidate being responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of all operational and technical equipment, housekeeping and event set-up/pack down within the Energy Events Centre and other Events & Venues sites.

You will have practical technical knowledge and experience with audio-visual lighting and sound equipment. Also essential for this role is the ability to think pro-actively in terms of hazard identification and the requirement to comply with all health and safety legislation that is applicable to the Theatre and Events Industry. As this is a very active position, which includes lifting and moving furniture, applicants shall have a level of fitness to withstand these duties. A willingness to work at heights together with a current Drivers Licence, First Aid Certificate and ForkLift Licence are also requirements for this busy role.

You must be a person who is willing to get the job done, who does not settle for second best and believes in delivering customer service at the highest level. As you will be liaising with clients and working within a dedicated team, a bubbly personality and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

The hours of work are up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, including evenings and Public Holidays, as per the Event Venues roster.
