The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand is the only national population health focused mental health charity in Aotearoa. We work to ensure that a population level, communities have access to support and resources to allow them to feel good, function well and sustain their mental health.

We have an amazing challenge for you: use your health promotion and programme design and delivery skills and expertise to improve mental health and wellbeing across a range of work and community settings in Aotearoa.

You will have:
•5+ years leading, developing and implementing public health promotion and/or community engagement programmes and projects
•Understanding of population health, health promotion and public health
•Experience designing, facilitating and presenting training and workshops to a range of workplaces (businesses, Government departments and community groups).
•Project and budget management experience
•Fantastic relationship management and engagement skills
•Experience working with all cultures, particularly Maori and Pacific
•Strong written and verbal communication skills

This role sits within the Mental Health Foundation’s Community Engagement team and reports to the Community Engagement Manager.

The salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience for the role.
