Are you calm, resilient and passionate when it comes to dealing with people?

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and adaptable person who has the necessary specialist knowledge, skills and experience to make a major contribution to assisting victims of crime through the court process.

You'll have an impact on these victims through what you do and how you do it. The Court Victims Advisor provides advice on how the victim's case is progressing and assists victims to participate effectively in the criminal justice process.

Your communication skills and understanding of legislative processes will enable you to work confidently and professionally in challenging circumstances and in an environment that requires liaising with multiple stakeholders. You will demonstrate sound judgement and the ability to work autonomously.

This is a full time permanent role. You will be based at either Manukau or Pukekohe District Court. A full driver's licence is preferable.

Salary range - $53,414 to $75,407.
