NDHB's oral health service is an integrated service providing care to an eligible preschool, school, adolescent and adult population in Northland in the community and hospital environments. All clinicians are assisted by experienced dental assistants and new graduates participate in a great mentoring programme. Both scopes of practice are supported at NDHB as the NDHB recognises what an asset a BOH graduate is to our service delivery model.
The scholarship is fixed term of one year, with an opportunity to stay for a second year if you wish. Of course if you want to choose Northland going forward as your home there could be an opportunity to apply for a permanent position.
