Casual Nursing positions offer you diversity in your work day and the opportunity to expand your nursing skills and work with a range of staff and patients across our services. Ashburton Hospital has opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join their team on a casual basis.

The Role: Where you fit in

If you're a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse and enjoy the challenge of working in a variety of clinical areas, we would love to hear from you.

Working across the Ashburton Hospital site you would be required to cover shifts on all of our clinical wards. You could also be covering shifts in the community/ district nursing team, and InterRai assessment for older peron's health.

You should be available to cover weekends, night shifts, annual/parental leaves and emergency staffing. Sound clinical skills and knowledge, confidence and ability to work effectively with a wide range of people are imperative to this role. A thorough orientation programme will be provided.
