Part Time Positions available
The Women's Health Clinic team are looking for experienced midwives to join our team. We are looking for enthusiastic team members to help us continue to develop and improve the service we offer women within the outpatient area.
We currently have the Day Assessment Unit, Antenatal Clinic and the Early Pregnancy Service, and are seeking to continue to improve the way we provide care to women requiring input from the secondary/tertiary antenatal services.
The Day Assessment Unit is a midwifery led unit that cares for women requiring increased monitoring within the secondary/tertiary care service. Midwives in the antenatal clinic work alongside the obstetricians in a variety of clinics - routine antenatal clinics as well as the high risk clinic (maternal and fetal) and the joint diabetes clinic, providing valuable midwifery care in this setting.
The successful candidate will need:
- excellent communication skills
- ability to effectively coordinate workloads
- desire to provide quality care within a multidisciplinary team
- relevant midwifery experience of at least 2 years
- willingness to consider post graduate study
This could be incorporated into a role that is partly in clinic and partly in the wider unit if desired.
Please feel free to give me a call if you would like further information - Heather Hames 027 208 9018. All applications must be received via applying online.
If you have a current practising certificate and would like to be considered for this opportunity, we look forward to hearing from you.
