12 month fixed term contract

Hawke's Bay District Health board is seeking dedicated New Graduate Midwives to work a 12 month fixed term contract in the beautiful sunny Hawke's Bay.

You will be joining an experienced and dynamic team with training and support that will enable your future growth and development.

You will be playing an integral part of the multidisciplinary maternity team providing care that is focused on the woman's individual needs, expectations and aspirations to achieve optimal birthing outcomes for women and their babies.

Selection Criteria:

  • Anticipating a practising certificate with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand
  • Evidence of enrolment on the Midwifery First Year of Practice Programme
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy environment with competing demands
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
