Ellerslie Gardens Lifecare is a 97 bed, (privately owned) Rest Home and Hospital in Ellerslie, Auckland.

With great support from management and fantastic relationships with our residents, this site is proud of its reputation.

We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Services Manager who is a reliable team player and has a real passion for working with the elderly.

As the Clinical Services Manager, you will work closely with the Facility Manager to ensure the effective management of the facility and be responsible for providing high level clinical leadership and support. You will monitor the provision of clinical care to residents and ensure the highest standards are achieved and maintained.

You will:
• Provide best practice in clinical leadership for our staff
• Deliver continuous quality improvement and best practice
• Co-ordinate services with Allied Health Professionals
• Be an enthusiastic and passionate team player
• Have a current annual practicing certificate

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in leading and managing staff
  • Substantial experience in the delivery of aged care services
  • The skills and experience to lead, direct and continually evaluate the clinical services within the facility
  • A current NZ Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound management, analytical and decision making skills
  • Knowledge of the Health and Disability Sector Standards and the ability to manage a robust quality system
  • InterRai Training and Preceptorship is an advantage

An experienced RN in Aged Care may be able to step into the role.
