Enjoy working as part of a team of dedicated Technicians supporting Clinical Pharmacists on wards and in the dispensary.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at Nelson Hospital, on a fixed-term, part-time, basis working 40 hours a fortnight (0.5FTE), from 16 July 2018 for 10 weeks. The purpose of this role is to support clinical pharmacists to provide comprehensive pharmacy services on the new Medical Admitting Unit (MAU).
This role offers the opportunity to work at the top of scope of practice; including assistance in providing medicines reconciliation, discharge planning and other tasks that relate directly to patient care and safety in clinical areas. It also involves procurement, dispensing, ward supply, stock control and assisting in the day-to-day running of the dispensary and pharmacy supply services.
