Whanganui Hospital Pharmacy is offering an exciting opportunity for an intern to join our friendly, multicultural team in 2019.

As a smaller hospital, you will work closely with our clinical pharmacists on various wards including Medical, Surgical, Mental Health, Assessment Treatment and Rehabilitation, Stroke Unit, Emergency Department and Paediatrics. Technicians provide medicines reconciliation on wards allowing pharmacists more time to provide clinical services in these areas. You will be involved in quality improvement activities and projects while developing your dispensing and OTC skills. On-going support and training will be provided each step of the way and you will be mentored by a very supportive team.
