The Clinical Support Service is seeking a dynamic Health Social Worker with proficient to advanced practitioner skills to join their multi-disciplinary team in the area of Woman, Child and Family Services (Birthing, Peri-natal, Children and Special Care Baby Units, and Child Development Team). This role additionally aims to provide pregnancy counseling services to Lakes DHB Te Aka Tauawhi Tangata clinic.

Do you have: * A Social Work degree * ANZASW Membership * NZ Social Work Registration * A passion for working with women, children and their families; helping people to maximize their wellbeing.

The preferred applicant will have ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team environment, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to prioritize a heavy changing workload, set and meet objectives in the acute health environment.

This position will require specific expertise in relation to family and psychosocial assessment, problem-solving, and negotiating client access to a broad range of community services.
