Mental Health and Addiction Services Tumanako and He Manu Pae (Whangarei) have a vacancy for a full time psychologist within a supportive multidisciplinary and multi-cultural inpatient setting. NDHB Mental Health and Addiction acute inpatient services provide a full range of services including assessment; group, family/whanau and individual interventions; hospital based therapies; and consultation services to people with mental health, alcohol and other drug problems.
You will provide a high standard of clinical practice and expertise, taking account of psychosocial and cultural issues relevant to the wellbeing of tangata whaiora within the context of their whanau. Your role will include the provision of psychological assessment, intervention and consultation/supervision. You will be supported to provide clinical leadership and develop your career. The position is suitable for an experienced, dynamic, motivated and self-directed psychologist.
