Korea House requires two experienced and skilled Chefs with at least 5 years of all-round expertise including at least 3 year as a senior Chef specialised in Asian cuisine, focused on traditional Korean and Japanese Cuisine.
Applicants shall have relevant skills, a strong work ethic with recognition to compliance to health and safety regulations and good English skills to deal with customers.
Hours of Work: Flexible as required by management but at least 30 hours each week, with overtime available.
Remuneration based on experience and skill base.

The competencies and Tasks of this position are;
1. Plan menus; estimate food requirements and costs
2. Prepare food orders for suppliers
3. Ensure high quality of food storage, preparation, cooking and presentation to patrons
4. Ensure all kitchen issues, (such as change of menu plans due to food costs) are discussed with restaurant manager, and all other necessary staff
5. When required (to other Chefs and assisting staff) demonstrate required cooking procedures and standards so that the highest presentation qualities are maintained
6. Ensure compliance with all hygiene regulations particularly to the maintenance food preservation and the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area
7. When directed by management supervise and train kitchen staff to the standards required
