Alper Lodge needs an experience Sous Chef.
Diploma in Cookery qualification and two-year professional experience essential.

Key responsibility:
  • Ensure the kitchen is running smoothly
  • Ensure each dish leaving the kitchen is checked for quality, quantity, presentation and correct temperature
  • Ensure kitchen staff receives the correct orders for the appropriate tables
  • Ensure kitchen staff are familiar with the day’s requirements
  • Ensure regular on-the-job training is conducted so that subordinate staff perform their duties correctly
  • Plan restaurant menu and design chef’s special
  • Consult on kitchen purchasing and estimate kitchen costs
  • Ensure the necessary food stocks are on hand at the right quality and quantity
  • Ensure hygiene and safety regulations are strictly adhered to
  • Ensure all communications between restaurant and kitchen run smoothly
  • Other duties as assigned
