We are looking for an experienced chef to take on the Sous chefs role.
Assisting the Head Chef in all area's of kitchen management;
Overseeing junior staff;
Running Entremetier section and Saucier in the Head Chefs absence;
Assisting with Menu and recipe development;
Helping the Head Chef with sourcing and developing relationships with suppliers.
Eventually we would like to see the role develop into Head Chef as our current Head Chef and owner has bigger plans!
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 2 years experience in a Chef de Partie or higher role in a similar quality restaurant;
Great attention to detail;
Excellent communication skills;
Ability to work hygienically, and quickly to a deadline.
Above all a passion for food and hunger to achieve!
