So, that’s a little bit about what we do, now to ‘what will you be doing with us?’

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join our site in Te Puke in the Western Bay of Plenty. Hours of work are Part Time during the weekends from 9am to 6pm. Additional hours may also be available.

In this position you will be responsible for cooking lunch and dinner for approximately 40 residents according to dietitian specifications in a senior living facility. You will also look after receiving, storing and preparing ingredients in accordance with safe food practice as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen.

If you’re our perfect candidate you will already have at least 2 years’ experience working in a commercial kitchen producing high quality food and be familiar with bulk food cooking. Ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168) and have your own transport. You will need to have the ability to work independently and confidently but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
