We are looking for an experienced assistant general manager.

Venue Managers inspire our team to deliver awesome results so we are looking for a hands on manager with a passion for cocktails and customer service. You will work closely with our General Manager to ensure our standards are kept at the highest level.

We require an experienced and self-motivated individual with the following skills and attributes:

- You will have a minimum of 2-3 years of recent senior hospitality industry experience working in cocktail bars + 2 years of management experience in a similar cocktail focused venue.

-Full financial and operational accountability for Caretaker

- Staff and venue control

- Experience working as a maitre de, as a bartender and as a waiter/waitress

- Ability to train and mentor a young team

- The ability to maintain the highest standards of service, to keep calm under pressure and be a team player that enjoys a busy thriving environment

- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktials, wine, beer and spirits and experience implementing training programs in these areas for staff.

- High level of experience in creating food and beverage offerings inline with our classic cocktail focus and costings

- Experience taking control of brand development for similar venues

- Knowledge of cashups, financial reporting, effective budgeting, costings, stocktaking and all bar business elements

- Excellent customer service and people skills

- Ability to give and receive direction

- Interest in development of own personal skill set

-Ability to cultivate relationships with local and international brands and suppliers

-Ability to manage effective staff rostering within budget constraints

- Immaculate presentation

- In-Depth understanding of Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

- Strong responsible presence in managing a bar alcohol and safety levels in line with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
