This new position assists with overseeing/coordinating all aspects of macaron and pastry production in keeping with my company's expectations of food quality and cleanliness, with a focus on creating an unparalleled guest experience.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, organized, reliable and hard working.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to Monsieur Macaron's culture.
Enjoy working in a team atmosphere with the ability to be comfortable taking initiative when working alone.
Ability to take ownership of issues, solve problems and make effective decisions.
Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and kitchen equipment.
Certification Patisserie/ Pastry school preferred.
Preferred experience of work or study in France.
Demonstrate adequate pastry skills and operations.
Prior experience with macaron, laminated dough, viennoiserie.
This position can be either a 30-40 hours
Tuesday-Thursday; Patisserie Production
Saturday/Sunday; Customer service role only.
