About the role
Due to an overwhelming demand from our clients, we are currently recruiting domestic cleaners and housekeepers to join our team. We will engage your services to support busy professional couples, individuals and families with their home cleaning and general housework. The work you do contributes to quality time for busy people wanting their weekends back and time for themselves....and a clean and tidy home.
Before you proceed with your application, please read the questions below to ensure the job suits your needs and you meet our requirements:
Do you have your own car? You will need to have your own car to travel to and from jobs. If you don't have a car, consider teaming up with a friend or family member with a car.
Do you have knowledge and experience using cleaning equipment and products? You must have experience in cleaning your own home or have worked in the cleaning industry and have good knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning products.
Can you communicate in written and spoken English? Communicating with our clients and the Agency is essential. You will need to be able to receive emails and phone calls from the Agency and Agency Clients. You will need to read labels on cleaning products and equipment to ensure you are using the correct product for each surface.
Are you on a Working Holiday Visa? If you are on a Working Holiday Visa, your application will not be approved. Our clients want permanent workers on a fortnightly or weekly basis. There are no casual vacancies.
Are you available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week? You can work as many hours as you want between 10 and 30 hours. There is no weekend or evening work, the vacancies are Monday to Friday.
Are you available to work 3-4 hour shifts? The weekly rosters are permanent. Our clients expect the same cleaner on the same day each week. We cannot provide work for Students with changing study timetables or people wanting different shifts each week.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
