-Cleaning, sanitation and storage of all cutlery, crockery, kitchen equipment and appliances,
-Cleaning of walls, floors and general kitchen workspaces and food storage areas, ensuring that principles of food hygiene are being observed; report any hazards or problems to Executive Chef.
-Remove rubbish regularly, ensure that kitchen and waste areas are free of refuse. Clean industrial bins on a daily basis.
-Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in effective working order, report any faults or repairs required to the Executive Chef.
-Assist and liaise with chef on duty with basic food preparation
-Previous hospitality or kitchen hand experience preferred.
-Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
-Good level of English, both written and verbal
-Good level of health and fitness
-Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster including weekends, nights and mornings (up to 40 hours a week).
-Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of a shift (8 hours).
-Use safe manual handling techniques at all times.
-Reliable and punctual and good personal presentation.
