So, that’s a little bit about what we do, now to ‘what will you be doing with us?’

We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to work at our Senior Living site in Omokoroa, Tauranga. Hours of work are full time, 8 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week including Saturday and Sunday.

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the chef with baking, sandwich making, dishes, cleaning, assisting with service of meals, and general kitchen and cleaning duties. You will also be responsible for setting and delivering the trolleys and temperature monitoring of food. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

If you’re our perfect candidate you will be a team player, with a friendly outgoing personality and a ‘can do’ attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience in food preparation, kitchen work and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one. You will be trustworthy and reliable but, most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.

The successful candidate will need to satisfactorily pass a police clearance.
