An established Hospitality Group is looking for 2 Venue Managers to take control of two BUZZing Auckland Events Centres. You will be charged with bringing the business up to brand standards and working with the current senior management within the group to drive these businesses.
The first Venue is based in Manukau. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of costs, a solid financial back ground, who can create and present spreadsheets. Although this is a great opportunity for someone to advance there career into Event Management, a solid foundation in Hospitality Management and all that is involved is a must!! There would be some BDM & Marketing work involved as well as some interaction with board members.
The second Venue is based in Western Springs. There will be a lot of client interaction, so being well groomed and presented at all times is a must. There is an on site cafe operating over 7 days as well as Functions and Events to Manage.You must be comfortable in your skills and knowledge and articulate whether interacting with clients and staff in person, or by phone and email. This would involve some level of Sales & Marketing to help drive the premises. When its game day, you will be expected to insure the clients are happy and everything is BUZZing.
