As Assistant Night Manager, you will be responsible for the auditing responsibilities of the Comfort and Quality hotels. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a consistent 5-star service that exceeds expectations through the following responsibilities:
*Service of late guest arrivals and early departures ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused.
*Assist with supervision of night lobby services including car parking and portering, ensuring guest arrivals and departures are as efficient as possible
*General cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the hotel including back of house areas
*First point of contact for any queries and assistance
*Assist with running reports and draw up statistical information and conduct balance procedures
The successful candidate must:
*Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or in a Front Office position
*Have excellent customer service skills; polite, friendly, professional and helpful at all times
*Have great organisation, communication and time management skills
*Be flexible to work varying shifts/ hours including weekends and evenings
*Be a team player
*Have a valid General Manager's Certificate and LCQ
*Have a Management or Hospitality/Tourism qualification suited to this role (preferred not essential)
