Hillside Kitchen & Cellar is looking for an amazing hospitality professional to be part of our team.

Hillside is a celebration of great, simple food inspired by seasonal ingredients, drawing on the cuisines of modern, multicultural New Zealand.

We don't necessarily do things the normal way we do things the way that best celebrates the ingredient.

We are part of a growing hospitality company and future career progression is strong.

We are a small team and everyone one gets stuck in and does what needs doing.

About you:
*Mature, confident and honest

*Wellington standard coffee skills
*Table service experience preferred
*You want to be here to learn and progress

*Attention to detail - every plate, every time is consistent
*A high standard of cleanliness and the willingness to clean
*Able to be part of a small hard working team, this means doing everything on all sections.

About the role:

*The role is varied and encompasses a wide range of duties.

*A minimum of one year experience in a quality environment is required
*A knowledge and high level of intrigue when it comes to food in a New Zealand context is a must.

*Experience, some knowledge, and interest in wine is needed.
*An engaging personality with great customer rapport is required
*Strong levels of communication are a must.
*Must be able to work evenings and weekends

*Experience making coffee is preferred
*A professional, motivated and hardworking attitude is needed.
*A Managers Certificate would be advantageous but not necessary

Candidate should have a desire to grow and develop their hospitality skills, and an intent to remain in the industry.

Multitasking ability is a must, as any one day can involve everything from takeaway coffee service to wine matched multicourse menus.
