Working for a well-established, multi-trade property maintenance and building contractor operating throughout the Central North Island your role will be to carry out the day-to-day human resources activities with the objective of maximising operational efficiency and staff satisfaction.

Collaborating with internal Managers to ensure that appropriate staffing is in place to enable all business activities your key responsibilities will include:
  • HR Policy , systems and processes
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Sub-contractor management of HR requirements and compliance
  • Induction and Learning and Development
  • Performance management systems
  • Remuneration governance
  • Communication and relationship management
  • Health and Safety systems and compliance

This is a broad ranging Human Resources function, which will require significant previous HR experience of a generalist HR nature.
It is likely therefore, that you will have had a minimum of 5 years practical experience in a similar role. Sound knowledge of employment legislation and experience in dealing with complex employment relations matters including disciplinary and mediation is necessary.

A qualification in Human Resources Management is highly advantageous but evidence of your experience will be key to securing this desirable position. Remuneration will be commensurate with the seniority of the role.
