We are currently seeking a People and Capabilities Coordinator to join our growing manufacturing business. The person should consider themselves to be forward thinking and have the ability to develop our workplace culture. This is a permanent full time position based in the busy Auckland Airport Oaks region.

The Person:
• Human resource qualification and relevant HR experience is required
• Knowledge of Employment and Health and Safety legislation, best HR practice and case law
• Strong communication and computer skills MS office (Excel, word, power point) and with the ability to develop relationships with internal and external candidates
• A team player with good decision making skills and shows initiative
• Ability to recruit top teams of people

The Role:
• End- to- End recruitment – inclusive of placing advertisements, screening, interviewing and reference checking
• On-boarding new staff - contract preparation and inductions
• Development of systems and continuous improvement of people and capabilities processes
• Daily HR activities of maximising operational efficiency and staff satisfaction
• Involvement and development of training programmes
• Management of staff exit strategies
• Health and Safety systems and compliance
• Union correspondence
