Employing 4500+ staff across healthcare, construction and corporate fields, in both NZ and Melbourne, the Ryman Group is diverse and our daily work is varied and meaningful. Everything we do contributes to our ultimate goal, to provide the very best care and retirement living – it has to be “good enough for mum”. This is why we aim to employ the cream of the crop, and provide them with continuous development opportunities to reach their full potential.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a smart and energetic people leader to join our team in a newly created role. This new HR Manager position will lead our growing generalist HR and Payroll teams, and report into our Chief People and Technology Officer.

We are happy to consider candidates that may not be HR Management specialists, but have a people and operational management background, with strong HR and payroll knowledge and experience.
The most important factor, is that you are naturally aligned with our culture and values.
We are a passionate and hardworking team, who are success driven, and focussed on delivering the very best for our residents and staff. We pride ourselves on our ability to get the job done without layers of bureaucracy, with quality at the top of mind. We talk in plain English, are frank communicators, and we treat people with kindness. The product we all collectively deliver as a team must be ‘good enough for mum’, and that is what everyone at Ryman cares about.
