Systems Administrator

• Full time permanent role based in Rotorua

We are looking to recruit a Systems Administrator for Claymark Ltd, a specialist in milling, manufacturing and distribution of quality timber products, across six sites. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of ICT support and solutions, as well as managing various system improvement projects to improve operational capacity. This is a systems administrator role with scope to grow towards an ICT Manager position.

Day to day responsibilities
• Business Support, including managing the Help Desk and providing application support
• Installation and maintenance of ICT equipment
• Management of external ICT providers
• Monitoring of ICT Performance Monitoring tools
• Investigation and resolving of performance related alarms
• Out-of-hours project and maintenance work as and when required
• Prioritising and scoping of IT requirements and changes
• Co-ordination of multiple projects, including planning, delivering, advising and/or overseeing others delivering the work
• Travel between the sites in Rotorua, Katikati, Thames and Henderson as and when required

An excellent working knowledge of relevant IT systems and a professional appreciation of organisation structure and operations is essential. You will need to be articulate and succinct, have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation and take ownership of tasks until resolution, this will require strong interpersonal skills.

Ideally you will have the ability to administer and maintain - Server 2008 R2 / Server 2012 R2 (Comfortable with Group Policy), RDS / Citrix, SQL Server 2008 / 2012, Active Directory, VMWare ESX, iPhones / iPads / Android devices, Windows 7 / 8 / 10, Networking and troubleshooting.
