Working at AUT represents a unique opportunity to utilise, grow and develop your skills and expertise whilst being part of the University's exciting continual evolution.
We are seeking an exceptional Survey and Evaluation Analyst with high level IT skills and previous practical survey research experience to join our Academic Quality Office. This is a high-performing team of people who are outgoing, hardworking, committed and supportive of each other - they have created a great environment to be a part of and are dedicated to the enhancement of quality in the University.
In this permanent role you will use the Blue Explorance online survey tool to develop and deliver an ongoing programme of university-wide surveys to meet compliance, planning and business improvement objectives. You will manage stakeholder engagement, communication, analysis and reporting; ensure data quality; and work with the Data Warehouse team, ICT Services and other teams to ensure process automation and administration, and accurate data capture and storage. Your strong numerical and data management abilities will be utilised to interrogate survey data. Additional experience with or interest in data visualisation and/or graphical design is preferred.
Combined with your strong IT skills, practical survey research experience is required as you will drive the continued development and implementation of the University student surveys and evaluations framework. This critical part of AUT's quality management system assists faculties with paper review and development via the compilation and communication of relevant data and analysis to a range of stakeholders. Your job will include examining the data and producing executive summaries, and working with faculties to identify feedback loops and monitoring processes. A relevant masters degree or higher is required.
You will be the escalation point for all queries from staff on these surveys and need to be an exceptional communicator. With engrained diplomacy you will have experience dealing with high level individuals, whilst easily developing close and friendly working relationships with your colleagues and across the University. You will be expected to communicate regularly with front-line teaching staff, departmental managers, teaching and learning managers, and deans.
